Cotton farming is challenging, especially when it comes to dealing with pests that threaten your crops. Vodo 35WDG by tara group of Pakistan is a powerful insecticide specifically designed to help you protect your cotton plants from three major pests: whiteflies, jassids, and thrips.

Let’s explore what makes Vodo 35WDG an essential tool for cotton farmers.

What Is Vodo 35WDG?

Vodo 35WDG is a broad-spectrum insecticide, meaning it targets a wide range of pests. Its unique formulation provides effective and long-lasting protection for your cotton crops.

Key Features

How Does Vodo Work?

Active Ingredients

1. Flonicamid (15%)
This ingredient quickly stops insects from feeding. When they touch the treated plant, they die almost immediately.

2. Pyriproxyfen (20%)
This ingredient works differently. It affects the insects’ hormones, stopping them from growing into adults. This means they can’t reproduce, which helps keep their numbers down.

Three Ways It Works

Vodo 35WDG has a triple action approach to control pests:

1. Contact Action: Insects that land on treated plants die right away.

2. Systemic Action: Once the plant absorbs the insecticide, it spreads throughout the plant. Even the parts that weren’t directly sprayed are protected.

3. Translaminar Action: Vodo 35WDG can penetrate the waxy surface of leaves, reaching pests hiding underneath.

Target Pests

1. Whiteflies

Whiteflies are tiny insects that suck the sap from plants. They weaken the plants and can spread diseases, making them a significant threat to cotton crops.

2. Jassids (Leafhoppers)

Jassids feed on cotton plants, causing damage that can lead to poor growth and lower yields. They can also carry diseases that affect your plants.

3. Thrips

Thrips are small insects that damage cotton buds, flowers, and bolls. Their feeding can hurt the quality of your cotton fibers and reduce the overall yield.

Benefits Of Using Vodo 35WDG

1. Effective Against Multiple Pests: It targets several harmful insects, so you can manage your crop’s health more effectively.

2. Long-Lasting Protection: With its unique formula, Vodo 35WDG provides both immediate and long-term control of pests, which means fewer applications.

3. Prevents Pest Reproduction: The hormonal effects of Pyriproxyfen stop pests from growing up and having more babies, helping to keep their numbers down.

4. Easy to Apply: It is user-friendly, making it easy for farmers to mix and apply.
